Oh, and it'll be anything but revolting! The Royal Shakespeare Company has just announced a brand-new cast for the show's second UK and Ireland tour, and it's looking to be better than Matilda's magical pancakes.
Launch at Curve, Leicester on 6 October 2025, the all-singing, all-dancing sensation of Roald Dahl's legendary children's story will run alongside the West End show - proving that even if you're little, you certainly can do a lot!
Meet the Cast
Four fantastic young performers - Madison Davis, Mollie Hutton, Olivia Ironmonger, and Sanna Kurihara - will play the beloved bookworm Matilda.
Richard Hurst will wear the trench coat of terror as Miss Trunchbull, while Tessa Kadler takes on the role of Miss Honey. Adam Stafford and Rebecca Thornhill will play Matilda's parents, Mr and Mrs Wormwood.
A whole class of miracle children and marvellous grown-ups join the ranks, including Scotty Armstrong, Portia Jefferies, Caiomhe Judd, Bradley Trevethan, Nicole Manumbre, and many more - proof that magic is very much alive in the classroom.
