INCREDIBLE

The performers conveyed the story fabulously. The music was brilliant and so were the costumes. The ending was so heartwarming and I would highly recommend watching it.

AIDA ALEXANDRA BIRMINGHAM

Went to this performance last night and was disappointed. The dancing, fire juggling and staging made it look like a school performance. The golden confetti was unnecessary and dribbled on for the majority of the second act. The singing was basic but less than an opera of this quality deserved . One highlight the king of the Ethiopians was up to the job. Not worth the trip

AIDA RICHMOND

We went to see Aida last night. The seats were excellent as was the sound. The performance was amateur and more like a school play. There was no need for the fire dancer or any dancing. The costumes left much to be desired. We left at the second interval. This was so disappointing we Will hesitate in booking future operas in Richmond. These days the effects can be made special without resorting to showers of gold leaf etc. the performance could have been shortened and smartened by loosing the additional amateur effects.
