Frankie Boyle Reviews

RAZOR SHARP
Frankie Boyle’s dry wit and devastating candour continue and last nights show in Wimbledon was no exception. He was on sparkling demonic form and continues to stand out as one of the best comedians of his generation. I’m a huge fan and you could tell last night that the mainly male audience loved his brutal realism too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

MORE GRIT ABOUT SCOTLAND
I was brought up in Scotland and I’m English. I was never a fan of Frankie Boyle however, I really enjoyed tonight. Very funny. I would say, like many comics, the usual attack on Tories. So much has happened to SNP over the past year and all that was mentioned was Nicola’s haircut. Definitely could have expanded taking the mic out of Scottish politic too. Other than that, would recommend.

DISAPPOINTED
Would not have normally got tickets for Frankie Boyle, but was very aware of his genre of comedy, and went to be entertained with an open mind and great expectations. Sadly, whilst much of his comedy observations and remarks were wincingly funny, sometimes shocking, I was left wanting a bit more than he delivered; perhaps it was me. The engagement with the audience section simply did not work, and he rightly swiftly moved away from that to his prepared material. An average night but I wanted more bang for my buck. Ah well, onto Frank Skinner in Bath next month.
