Rollers Forever

What is apparent from this production is that while The Rollers heyday may have been over for many decades, the enduring love of their fans and the appetite for these tunes remains undiminished.

Why see Rollers Forever?
Rollermania!
Award-winning Scottish writer Danny McCahon’s Rollers Forever returns to the stage following a hugely popular previous run! Directed by Liz Carruthers, the production captures the tartan-mania of the 1970s that followed the Edinburgh teen sensations, the Bay City Rollers, featuring the beloved music of the band and a story born from genuine fan stories. A truly feel-good musical, Rollers Forever is a love letter to the era, the pop anthems, and the dedicated community that kept the band’s legacy going.
What Is The Story?
Rollers Forever tells the story of two friends who reunite one Saturday night, only to find themselves thrown right into a wave of nostalgia about their youth spent as part of a dedicated fandom to their favourite band, the Bay City Rollers. Reliving the Roller-Mania that swept them and so many others up, this warm, funny, and completely heart-filling musical is not just a celebration of the band and their fans, but also of how the music we love early on in life shapes who we become decades later.
