GOOD ACTING BUT POOR SOUND

Went with a group of Special Needs Families and the general impression was that the fist half was too quiet but overall great acting and singing. Also Charlie was played by a girl and she was brilliant but lots of people were saying why is not a boy as in the original story.

BRILLIANT VOCAL NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE ACTUAL FACTORY

The musicals were really good but I wasn't impressed with the actual choclate factory . I feel it relied heavily on computer animation as a pose to actual sweet props . Not worth the money .

VERY BORED BECAUSE THE FIRST HALF SET THE ATMOSPHERE

Very bored because the first half set the atmosphere For the whole show sadly. It was dark and droll and the positioning of the cast at the back of the stage left a whole empty area at the front and along with sound issues my friend and I looked at each other at one point and said ‘have you any idea what they are saying’? I replied not a sausage! I had no clue and we were only 10 rows from the stage! We fidgeted and tossed and turned and I couldn’t wait for it to end. Finally it ended and then the security staff had their job cut out for them as all the kids and groups at the back of the stalls had been fighting and causing issues and people were asking to be moved all over the theatre. Another 10 mins of boredom at the start of the second half and finally it came to life. But it was too late by then.

DISSAPOINTED

Poor sound glad there was subtitles as we had to read them as we couldn't hear what was been said ,some main songs were missing .The oompah loompas looked more like the tin man from the wizard of oz and too tall ,The show sadly lacked the wow factor ,,first time I've been dissapointed by z musical show

2.0 star rating Debbie from Liverpool,

NEVER AGAIN

Paid £44 each to be sat in the middle of 100s of school children as young as 4/5yrs who weren't one little bit interested so talked all the way through, apparently schools got a good deal on tickets. The show was average, Charlie was female, no umpa lumpas tin men instead, no snodgrove, different songs. Waste of money really At least we know now how it works will give it a miss in future.
